Uzbekistan Railways reports the Afrosiyob train runs twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. To ensure the safety of passengers and provide them with quality services, Tashkent and Samarqand railway stations have established modern security and maintenance system. The introduction of electronic tickets will create comfort for passengers and will save their time.

The train consists of two electric locomotives and eight passenger cars and one dining car, and is capable of carrying 215 passengers. The information on air temperature, schedule and route speed will be regularly updated on computer display in the cars. At any season the air temperature will remain stable in the cars.
