held to enhance quality of youth programs.

been reviewed in Turkmenistan.

in demand for commodity and material resources in many countries, Andijonkabel
increased production and sale of cables and wires in 2009 by 12% as compared to
that in 2008. Sales realized 76 billion soums. And in the LAN-cable production
used for structuring communication systems and information technologies, the
company became the leader among the 60 cable manufacturing factories in CIS.
One of the leading companies in the electrical industry produces over 30 types
of cables and wires, more than 50% of which is exported.

The number of enterprises certified in
accordance with the ISO: 9000 quality standards grows. This is the outcome of
the execution of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional
measures for intensification of introduction of quality management systems in
the enterprises of the republic, meeting the respective international
standards”. The resolution is aimed at the enhancement of competitiveness of
products and services by national enterprises. The introduction of the similar
quality control systems in universities is gaining topicality, think
specialists from the Republican Higher and Secondary Special and Professional
Education Centre and make some research in this direction.
A prominent Uzbek surgeon Mirjamol Zufarov has
been awarded the highest international award - “Occupation is Life” prize in
the nomination “For Faith to Profession”.
