History "comes to life" in front of tourists

Theatrical performances are organized at the Ark ancient fortress in Bukhara. Similar shows to attract tourists will be launched in other regions.

Previously, such a project was successfully implemented in Khiva: an episode from the life of Khiva Khan is recreated before the audience. In the winter palace of Ichan-kala guests can observe the official entrance of the khan with observance of the corresponding ceremony, reception of foreign ambassadors from Iran, China and Russia, at the end - a small concert program.

Special attention should be paid to the reconstructed costumes of the ruler, guards, ambassadors and all participants of the performance, the press service of the State Committee for Tourism said.

In Bukhara, such a project is also implemented: in the fortress of Ark, the audience witnesses the official release of the Bukhara Emir, listening to the report of the military minister on the tranquility in the emirate. Then the emir receives foreign ambassadors from Arabia, the Ottoman state, Afghanistan, France and entertains guests, arranging for them a small concert program. In the final part, the courtiers leave the summer palace of the Bukhara Emir.
The State Committee for Tourism Development (Goskomturizm) of the Republic of Uzbekistan is working on the implementation of similar projects in other historical centers: Samarkand, Shakhrisabz, Kokand.
