Local media were quick to annouce Konstantin Mikhailov and Tohir Gulyamov, as the potential judges for the upcoming Olympic wrestling competitions -2016.
The final decision on the matter, will be annouced by the United World Wrestling only in May, after the completion of the license qualifying competitions. In the meantime, they are only in the lists of candidates for these positions.
Both candidates are experienced Uzbek referees. Konstantin serves at world championships since 1998. And Tohir serves at adult world championships since 2002.
They were both awarded the highest award of the United World Wrestling- the "Golden Whistle". Mikhailov received the award as a result of the World Cup in 2011 and Guliamov received his, as the result of the world championship in 2014.
List of candidates for the service at the competitions during the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro was presented by the United World Wrestling at the meeting of the executive committee of UWW, held in Sochi.
