The Asian Championship U-23, was launched on January 12th in Doha, Qatar.
Along with revealing the names of the strongest teams of the continent in this age category, the tournament in Qatar will determine the three participants of the Olympic Games 2016, which will be held this summer in Rio de Janeiro.
The Olympic team of Uzbekistan, headed by Samvel Babayan, will hold it’s first match on January 13th versus their peers from South Korea. Prior to that, teams of the two countries in this age group met four times. Three matches ended in favor of the South Korean team and the last match was a draw.
Note that the upcoming match between the Olympic teams of Uzbekistan and South Korea will begin at 21:30 Tashkent time .
