"Nasaf" of Karshi was defeated by the Saudi "Al-Ahly" with a score of 1 : 2, in the first match of the group stage of the AFC Champions League.
Muhammad Fatilu scored a goal on the second minute of the match. The debutant Babur Abduhalikov of "Nasaf" stood out with his excellent performance. In the first half he had several opportunities to score. The young forward seized one of those moments and equalized the score.
The second half also started with the attack of the hosts. After a pass in the penalty area, Omar Soma scored a header goal. By the end of the match Karshi club was behind by one point. After 76 minutes, Erkin Baydullaev was shown a second card.
