Bahrain's national team is primed for attacking football against Uzbekistan in the last match of the second qualifying round of the World Cup. This was said by the head coach Sergio Batista.
"The team has arrived to Tashkent to get only three points. Our main philosophy – is to achieve victory in every match. Whatever happens, this aim is never changed. It will be very difficult, but we will try to achieve this goal, "- Batista said today at the pre-match press conference.
According to the coach, after the game against Yemen the team is in the best condition and training for tomorrow's match has been done quite successfully. The players are ready tactically and physically, he said.
"A match against a very good team, which has coordinated game, is to be played, and we understand that the owners will be fighting for three points: tomorrow it will be a very complex and interesting match," - Batista said.
The coach says that that a closed game should not be expected from his team. "It does not fit into our plans. It does not matter where a game is played, at home or on the road. We always set ourselves goal to win three points. Attacking football – is our main philosophy, "- the Argentine expert said.
"This was a time when Bahrain’s team was one of the strongest on the continent, and today we are also trying to grow up and we do all for this. Football is changing rapidly all over the world, I hope the days when the team will be among the teams claiming to the world championship will come again" – Batista summed up.
The match between Uzbekistan and Bahrain will be held on March 29 at "Bunyodkor" stadium at 18:00.
