The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the documents regulating the activities of the two deputy prime ministers and departments under their supervision.
In particular, the deputy prime minister - the head of the complex on health, ecology, environment, physical culture and sports will solve urgent problems of health care and pharmaceutical industries, as well as problems in the sphere of ecology and environmental protection. He will also be responsible for creating the conditions and implementation of effective measures for a broad involvement of all strata of the population in regular exercise, the implementation of measures to further strengthen the material-technical base of sports facilities, the implementation of measures to further improve the continuous system of selection, training and upgrading skills of talented and promising athletes.
While the deputy prime minister – the head of the complex on the issues of youth policy, culture, information systems and telecommunications will implement systematic work on further improvement of youth policy. He will also be responsible for the development of culture and art, information and communication technologies, as well as the organization of monitoring of the national information space and information security.
