As previously reported, the First Interregional Cooperation Forum between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan kicked off in Tashkent today. Vladimir Turdenev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan attended the business breakfast, one of the first events within the framework of the Forum.
In his speech, he noted that such a large-scale event is being held for the first time. More than a thousand representatives of the Russian Federation arrived to attend the Forum.
According to the Ambassador, in recent years, cooperation between the two countries in various sectors is expanding, economic relations is strengthening.
The Forum is being attended by more than 400 companies and hundreds of exporters from the Russian Federation.
