The conference noted that the ongoing armed conflicts in the Middle East have acquired a permanent character and remain a source of tension for the entire world community.
"Members of international terrorist organizations are relocating to the territory of Afghanistan, coming very close to the borders of the SCO member states, as well as returning to the countries of exodus, forming "sleeping cells," said Yevgeny Sysoev.
In addition, the members of the conference noted that an effective fight against terrorism can not be carried out without reliable overlapping of sources of its financing, as required by the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly, the UN Security Council and the international standards of the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering.
Specialists emphasized that against the backdrop of the active military pressure of the anti-terrorist forces in the Syrian-Iraqi zone, not only the geography of the theater of operations is changing, but also the tactics of the activity of terrorists. This was stated by the director of the executive committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (the RATS of SCO), Evgeny Sysoev.
