The thirteenth round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Latvia was held in Riga, MFA press office reports.
The sides thoroughly discussed the prospects of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, analyzed the juridical base of cooperation, and exchanged views on international and regional issues.
It was emphasized that the Uzbek-Latvian mutually advantageous ties, maintained through regular meetings at the highest level are based on jointly established solid legal foundation and are developing dynamically.
The sides regard each other as long-term and reliable partners. Our relations are based on transparency and recognition of mutual interests and cover areas such as trustful political dialogue, inter-parliamentary and interagency contacts, mutually beneficial trade, relations in economic, transport and communications fields.
