The President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov sent a letter of condolences to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in relation to the crash of Boeing 737-800 passenger aircraft in Rostov-on-Don, – the press service of Uzbek MFA reports.
"The head of our state conveyed the words of profound sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims," – the agency said.
Boeing 737-800 of Fly Dubai Airline (UAE) flying from Dubai crashed at the airport of Rostov-on-Don overnight into March19. Three main versions of the crash are considered: bad weather, technical failure, and the crew error.
There were 55 passengers from 4 different countries aboard of FZ 981 flight: 44 Russian citizens, eight – from Ukraine, two – from India, and one citizen of Uzbekistan. There were seven crew members. They all died.
