Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov will take part in the meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the CIS which will be held in Moscow today, the MFA of Uzbekistan press service reports. The agenda of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers covers 10 issues related to key activities of the CIS. Following the results of the CFM meeting the drafts of the relevant documents will be submitted for consideration of the CIS Councils of Heads of States and Governments. The foreign ministers will sum up implementation of the Plan of multi-level ministerial consultations within the CIS for 2015 and shape a similar plan for 2016.
The draft plan for the current year, which basically keeps the theme of the consultations held in 2015, has been made up on the basis of proposals of the member states.
At the CFM meeting it is scheduled to consider the draft agreement on cooperation in exchange of geospatial information in the interests of the armed forces of the CIS member states, as well as a number of documents regulating cooperation in health sector.
The Foreign Ministers will also consider the issues relating to protection of participants of criminal proceedings and establishment of core campaign of the CIS member states in the field of study of military metrology and metrological maintenance of armed forces problems, training specialists in the field of mine clearance for armed forces, working with young people, and development of youth entrepreneurship.
In addition, the documents regulating organization of ART EXPO international exhibition of the CIS member states and implementation of "Cultural Capitals of the Commonwealth" interstate program will be discussed at the meeting.
