Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Miki Yamada, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
As it is noted, Yamada came to our country to conduct negotiations in the government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade.
During the talks at the Foreign Ministry, the parties have exchanged the views on the state and prospects of Uzbek-Japanese relations.
It was emphasized that the official visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe, took place in October 2015 at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, and negotiations at the highest level have given a new dynamics to the strategic partnership between the two countries.
A wide range of issues of the bilateral cooperation, covering cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian, and other spheres, as well as in the framework of "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue has been discussed during the meeting.
