Uzbekistan introduces technologies of safe tourism

Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid special attention to the development of tourism during his visit to the Khorezm region. In particular, he carefully studied the implementation of the concept of "Safe Tourism".

In countries with developed tourism, the concept of "safe tourism" is increasingly used. The project "Safe Tourism" provides for ensuring security and creating modern conditions for tourists and visitors.

The President of our country got acquainted with the project on the implementation of the concept of "Safe Tourism" in the region. It includes measures to equip tourist infrastructure facilities with video surveillance, connect state and non-state facilities that provide tourist services and ensure the safety of tourists, to a single information and communication system, and to create a database of tourists visiting the region.

The President also got acquainted with the progress of the reconstruction of the Nurillabay architectural complex. According to historical information, the territory of this palace belonged to the local merchant Nurillabay. The ensemble performed the function of a residence for the reception of foreign guests.

During the previous trip of the head of our state to the Khorezm region in January of this year, the responsible persons were instructed to reconstruct this complex at the level of modern requirements. According to the project, developed according to the recommendations of the President of our country, a hotel, a restaurant, a reception house, a gallery, an amphitheater, an exhibition of artisans were built here.

 The exposition includes, among others, historical photographs shot in Khorezm in the XIX-XX centuries, photos and films of the first Uzbek cameraman and photographer Khudoybergan Devonov. Visitors are greatly interested in exhibitions on the topics "Traditional handicraft of Khorezm: history and modernity", "Modern art of Uzbekistan: melodies, images, interpretation".
