The Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for collecting tourism (hotel) tax on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. To account for the guests to use electronic automated accounting program.

Tourist tax is levied on foreign citizens and stateless persons who do not have a permanent place of residence in Uzbekistan. Its size is equivalent to $ 2 per each day of your stay. In this case, the fee is paid in the same currency as the hotel services (US dollars, euros and soums). However, state and budget organizations, paying for the accommodation of the persons invited by them, pay the fee in national currency at the rate of the Central Bank on the day of payment.

Placement of funds on a monthly basis by the 5th day of the current month are obliged to transfer to the special account of the Fund support for tourism sector during Goskomturizme full tourism (hotel) worth collecting in foreign and local currencies, received them during the previous month, including individuals, terms of temporary residence going over to the following month, for the days of actual residence in the previous month, according to the information presented in Goskomturizm.

For late or incomplete transfer of sums tourism (hotel) accommodation collecting funds pay fines in the national currency at a rate of 0.05% of nedoperechislennoy amount for each day of delay, but not more than 50% of the total debt.

Amounts tourism (hotel) fees charged by means of accommodation, they are not considered revenue (profit).
