The State Museum of History of Uzbekistan and the Louvre are considering the organization of an exhibition dedicated to Uzbekistan, which is expected to take place in Paris in 2019.
This week at the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan has been held a meeting with the director of the Department of Islamic Art of the world-famous French Louvre Museum.
At the meeting in Tashkent the sides discussed the possibilities of further development of cooperation between the museums of the two countries.
It is planned that the exhibition will feature exhibits vividly telling the story of the country from the Stone Age and the time of occurrence of the first state formations on the territory of modern Uzbekistan to the present day. Special attention will be paid to the coverage of the period of Amir Temur ruling.
