These works are conducted by the national air carrier with the national vehicle monitoring system UzGPS.
The new system will prevent accidents by automating the monitoring of the movement of trains, as well as improve the service of passengers.
"We continue to implement a unified system, both on motor transport, which belongs directly to "Uzbekistan Temir Yollari" JSC, and on rail transport throughout the Republic. In the future, we intend to develop a free mobile application that will provide passengers with full information about the location of the train and the remaining time en route to the station of interest to the user," said Umidullo Ibragimov, head of ICT division in “Uzbekistan Temir Yollari” JSC.
The introduction of the satellite monitoring system allows the dispatch service to analyze the management style of the train driver.
The wide introduction of this system on the railway will also allow monitoring of the target use of diesel fuel on diesel locomotives.
