Uzbekistan plans to introduce compulsory health insurance

Following the results of the conference meeting, under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in an interview with the "Uzbekistan 24" TV channel, Minister Alisher Shadmanov stated that the tasks to improve the legal basis for the development of the health care system were set.

In particular, the Minister announced the preparation of five draft presidential decrees that cover almost the entire health care system.

In addition, draft laws will be prepared that will address issues of transplantation, public-private partnership and compulsory health insurance.
