Scientists will tell about artifacts of Uzbekistan in the collections of Great Britain, France, Turkey and Japan

In 2018, there will be unique books-albums, telling about artifacts of Uzbekistan, stored in the famous collections of Great Britain, France, Turkey and Japan.

Director General of the State Tretyakov Gallery (Russia), candidate of art criticism Zelphira Tregulova addressed to the creative team of the project "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the world's collections" wrote: "More than half a century ago, outstanding cultural researchers of Central Asia Galina Pugachenkova and Lazar Rempel wrote with regret in the preface to one of the his books on the impossibility of presenting in one publication "many remarkable creations of ancient art from the territory of Uzbekistan" because of their dispersal in foreign national museum stores. "The consolidated edition of them is the work of the future," they wrote then. The time, which famous scientists dreamed of, finally came, and today we are witnessing the release of the first volumes of the grandiose project "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the world's collections".

These unique books will be prepared and published within the framework of the project "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the world’s collections". Now five albums of this series have been published, and five more are planned to be presented on November 28-29, 2017, in the framework of the multimedia forum "The Crossroads of Times: The Great Legacy of the Past - the Basis of an Enlightened Future", mainly based on the collections of Russian and Uzbek museums.
The creators of the project plan to prepare and release such books as "The Numismatic Collection of the British Museum", "The Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the Collections of the Louvre and Other Museums in France", "The Manuscripts of Alisher Navoi Maverannahr in the Collection of the Russian National Library", "The Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in Manuscripts of French National Library", "Collection of the Museum of Japan". The publication of albums dedicated to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan is planned in such collections of the UK as the Bodleian Library, Cambridge and Windsor.

At the same time, the creative team of the project will continue to work with Russian museums. In particular, publication of books is planned, dedicated to collections of the State Museum of the History of Religion, the Russian National Library, the State Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography named after Peter the Great (Kunstkamera).

In the series there will be another album dedicated to the museums of Uzbekistan, its contents will be determined by the collection of the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan.

Work on new publications will begin already in the framework of the forthcoming multimedia forum "The Crossroads of Times: The Great Legacy of the Past - the Basis of an Enlightened Future". Their presentation and discussion are planned.
