Where to go if the employer violates your rights?

The State Labour Inspectorate promises to respond promptly to all complaints of citizens received on the helpline: 200 - 06 - 01.

In order to prove that the rights of employees in the workplace  are protected, the deputy chief of Inspectorate, Nozima Sulaimanova, spoke about the results of inspections in 2015.

In accordance with the schedule approved by the Coordination Council , the State Labour Inspectorate conducted a legal audit of 2588 business entities (including budget organizations), during which more than 23.9 thousand  violations of labour legislation were revealed, in terms of registration and compliance of employment contracts - 6932 , including 4478 - in the field of remuneration. The facts of concealment and failure to provide information on available job vacancies was revealed in 1295 companies.

As a result of these audits, 2054 written orders to eliminate violations were issued, 1702 leaders and officials were brought to administrative responsibility.

In addition, the restoration of labour rights of 2193 citizens, who applied to the legal labor inspection was ensured. The Inspectorate assisted in the payment of salary arrears totaling to more than 10.3 billion soums to 1.7 thousand citizens.

At the same time, the State Labour Inspectorate examined 4 thousand complaints from individuals and legal entities. Among the most common complaints - issues of late payment of wages, the facts of unlawful termination. Also employers often hide information about the availability of vacant quota and workplaces. In all cases, measures were taken in accordance with the law.
