This figure is the result of the survey conducted by the Ijtimoiy Fikr Public Opinion Research Center, dedicated to the issues of family and morality.
The survey was conducted to identify sustainable spiritual and moral values of families of Uzbekistan and factors of their development. According to the survey, the vast majority of citizens (94.5%) highly commended the state family support measures.
According to respondents, the most important factors influencing the formation of morality in families in Uzbekistan are the family itself (86.7%), mahalla (community) (52.1%), educational institutions (48.2%), social environment (33.9%) and television (29.4%).
The research revealed the stability of value orientations of the people of Uzbekistan in family building. Happy family life is a successful marriage built on mutual trust, love and patience. These values are fixed in the public mind over the years. 96% of citizens, especially in rural areas, consider their families strong and happy.
The results of the survey show that in the vast majority of Uzbek families a lot of attention is paid to the spiritual and moral education of children in the spirit of high moral principles. Diligence, attention and respect for elders, patriotism, love for the motherland, honesty, and modesty are cultivated in young people from their very childhood.
96.7% of citizens are opposed to divorce, understanding the negative impact of the divorce on the education, training, and future of children.
