Starting from February 28, 2018, when flying on the flights of the "Uzbekiston Havo Yullari" National Air Company (NAC) from the airports of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the points of near and far abroad with a transfer at the airport in Tashkent you can register for the flight of the airline and place your luggage immediately to the final destination, provided that the minimum connection time between flights is at least 2 hours.
Thus, when issuing tickets on a single letterhead and traveling abroad through the Tashkent airport on NAC flights, you will not need to register for a connecting flight, receive and re-pass the luggage for reissue. Baggage is accepted for transportation, passes customs clearance and is delivered to the aircraft without the participation of the passenger. To realize this service, you need to tell the registration agent at the airport of the initial departure about your desire to be registered before the final point of your trip.
If you have goods in your baggage or hand luggage that are subject to mandatory customs declaration, you will need to fill out the customs declaration and present it to the customs officer at the "Tashkent" airport. List of goods subject to mandatory written declaration you can see by going to the website of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan http://www.customs.uz.
Important: The registration for the transport of baggage to the final destination does not release the passenger from liability for finding goods that are subject to customs declaration or prohibited for import/export. Fulfillment of requirements for through registration does not release the transfer passenger from compliance with other requirements of the customs legislation of the country of destination and customs legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
