The project "Green city of Akhangaran" is presented in Tashkent

Tomorrow, the National Energy Saving Company and the Alternative Energy Club hold a seminar on "Implementing Energy Saving Technologies and Renewable Energy Sources in Uzbekistan".

In most of the world, one of the most important objects of state regulation has been the introduction of modern energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies in various sectors of the economy and the expansion of the use of renewable energy sources. This is due to the shortage of basic energy resources, the growing cost of their production against the backdrop of a constant increase in the economy's need for energy resources, as well as global environmental problems.

In our country, the issues of saving and increasing the efficiency of energy consumption are seen as one of the most important factors for ensuring long-term economic growth and increasing the competitiveness of domestic goods.

In this connection, during the seminar the issues of wide introduction of modern energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies in state bodies and organizations of our country, ensuring rational consumption of energy resources will be considered.

Representatives of ministries and departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan, scientists and specialists of the leading higher educational institutions of the country, as well as foreign guests are invited to participate in the event.

The meeting will focus on energy conservation in Uzbekistan, as a prerequisite for the development of renewable energy; use of photovoltaic stations and systems in households; climate change and the future of Uzbekistan's water resources, the introduction of energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies in government agencies and organizations. The presentation of the project "Green city of Akhangaran" is expected.
