Postmen were released from the obligation to distribute pensions

Until July 2017, the payment of pensions, social benefits, compensatory and other payments in cash, funded by the extrabudgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance, will be take over gradually from the Uzbekiston Pochtasi company to the Halk Bank (the People’s Bank).

The corresponding decision was adopted by the President's resolution of March 13 "On measures to further improve the mechanism of payment of pensions and benefits," the Central Bank informs.

Pensions in cash will be issued in special cash desks, which will be opened in the buildings of citizens' gatherings and in other administrative buildings that are convenient for receiving funds by pensioners.

Pensions and benefits for people who do not have the opportunity to move independently and receive them at special cash desks will be delivered by the People's Bank directly at their place of residence.

The Central Bank, in accordance with the applications of the People's Bank, will provide the necessary amount of cash for uninterrupted distribution of pensions and benefits, taking into account the completion of all payments before the 27th day of each month.

The Pension Fund together with the People's Bank will ensure the integration of databases to automate the accounting of payments and control of pensions and benefits to the public in online mode with the introduction of SMS-informing recipients.
