By the end of 2017 the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) builds two new vocational training centers in Urganch and Kokand.
It was noted at the Uzbek-Korean meeting in Tashkent. The total cost of projects is $12 million. The centers will train technical specialists.
Only one similar center operates to date in Tashkent. It has already trained nearly 1230 specialists.
Several months ago the construction of another center in Samarqand got started worth $6.4 million, which will be completed by 2016. Besides, KOICA intends to build similar center in Shahrisabz. Completion of the construction is planned to 2017, and worth $8.5 million.
Thus, by the end of 2018 Uzbekistan will have five vocational training centers of KOICA.
