The Euronews TV channel aired video footage of the heritage of the Silk Road and the fantastic Samarkand city in the Uzbekistan Life newscast on October 20 of the current year.
“Viewers can see the video clip on the TV until October 25, 2015. It is also available for viewing on our website and on euronews.com”, the press service of Uzbektourism reports.
In November, the audience will see the following video clip from ‘Uzbekistan life’ cycle about ancient Bukhara and get acquainted with its rich craft heritage.
Earlier, Uzbekistan Today reported that the Euronews TV channel crew starts work on new reports and stories about the ancient cities of Uzbekistan.
"We completed the second stage of cooperation with the Euronews TV channel in the first half of the year. We are starting new shootings in several cities now," Farrukh Rizaev, the chairperson of Uzbektourism said to the UT correspondent.
Another film crew will shoot report about Samarkand, Bukhara and Termez. A five-minute clip will be devoted to each city.
It is expected, that there will be six more stories. "There are six clips lasting one minute, describing the architectural monuments of the country, the art of making ceramics and satin," Rizaev added.
Cooperation with Euronews, established in 2013, is aimed at raising awareness of the international community about the rich historical heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the development of its tourism potential.
