Uzbekistan Today begins a publication of a series of articles on Tashkent landmarks named ‘Tashkent Urbanization.’ Readers could get acquainted with the most interesting architectural objects of the capital.
This article is dedicated to a new six-lane bridge on the street of Sebzar. Its construction provided to increase the traffic capacity of the street from 3200 to 9800 vehicles per hour. The traffic capacity in the four-lane road along the Kodiriy Street also increased from 2400 to 5600 vehicles per hour. This road solution positively impacted on the traffic on the streets Nurafshon, Abai, Olmazor, Zulfiyakhonim, Korasaroy, Sagbon, Zarkaynar, Navoi and Sakichmon.
For the convenience of pedestrians two overpasses on the Sebzar Street have been built. They are 102 and 111 meters long.
Nearby territory to the overpasses are beautified with fountains and rest areas, including benches and mini cafes.
