All children aged two and three months and one year will receive the vaccine free of charge that is free of charge at all points (family health center or rural health units).
Corresponding changes have been made in the national immunization schedule, vaccination points will be equipped with the necessary number of appropriate vaccines, the Ministry of Healthsaid.
Medical personnel taking part in the vaccination has been trained.
The vaccine against pneumococcal infection is well stood and insertedintramuscularly. It is safe and generates a prominent immune response.
Experts also noted that now in line with the national vaccination calendar of the country, all children receive vaccines against 11 infectious diseases: hepatitis B, polio, tuberculosis, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, measles, mumps, rubella, rotavirus and pneumococcal infection.
