60 thousand women will become participants of the pilot project on the introduction of a single home record card for pregnancy.
The project will be launched in Namangan region, after which the decision will be taken on its distribution across the territory of Uzbekistan. Every pregnant woman will receive a special medical card, which will contain all medical data on the progress of pregnancy and the most important information for the prevention of complications during pregnancy. These cards will be updated with observational records by doctors and patients.
As explained by the Ministry of Health, the introduction of the pregnancy card will further reduce medical errors and preserve the health of mothers and children. 60 million soums from the state budget will be allocated on the implementation of the pilot project.
