Medical university clinics are special institutions, which are of great importance not only in the preparation of the young generation of doctors and medical care. All clinics to date are multidisciplinary medical institutions, which render high-tech medical care. That is why the Ministry of Health gives priority to their development.
So, these days the Cabinet of Ministers has approved measures to implement the project ‘Equipping clinics of medical higher educational institutions and the republican clinical hospitals with modern medical equipment’ with the participation of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. It should be mentioned that for the implementation of the project loan agreement was signed on March 19, 2015 between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development in the amount of 6.5 million Kuwaiti dinars ($21.5 million) for a term of 24 years, including a 4-year grace period for implementation of the project (2016-2019).
Prior to the supplies of purchasing materials and equipments within the project, premises in the clinics of medical higher educational institutions and the republican clinical hospitals will be prepared meant for the installation of equipment.
