As the Central Bank said in an official message, in December 2017 another
159 ATMs were installed in the republic. And by the end of the first quarter of this year it is planned to install 150 more such devices and increase their number to 595.
It should be reminded that in August last year in the capital there were the first ATMs for cashing money from a plastic card. Special devices were installed first only in three markets of Tashkent - Alai, Kuyliuk and Yunusabad.
Recently, the press service of the UOPC informed that UzCard has developed new services without restrictions on withdrawing cash from a plastic card through ATMs. Now each bank has the right to independently set the commission rates from 0% to 5% for withdrawing cash. Accordingly, each bank sets individual commission fees for withdrawing money from the ATM. But according to the recommendations of the Central Bank, commercial banks can not exceed the established rates.
It was also reported that an unlimited option is possible, set by the bank to withdraw cash.
