This year, as part of the State investment program 7 bln soums have been allocated to complete the construction of the campus for the Bukhara branch of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration.
The branch was created five years ago on the base of the Bukhara State University of retraining of personnel.
Key moment in achieving the goal turned a construction of a modern complex of buildings for the new higher education institution, to which were transferred the territory and buildings of one of the colleges. For the years passed here were built a new main academic block, and a dormitory reconstructed. The college’s production workshops were reconstructed into a modern information-resource center, while other buildings are remade into laboratories and fitted up with advanced equipment.
All buildings of the Bukhara State University to date have all necessary training and laboratory equipments.
Thus, for the last five years the construction of the second campus is getting completed in Bukhara. The first was put into commission of the Bukhara Engineering-Technological Institute.
