To implement the project for the construction of a professional training center in the city of Shakhrisabz for 240 pupils with a dormitory for 60 persons the grant of the Government of the Republic of Korea with a total of 8.5 million US dollars was allocated.
Administrative and production buildings of the former city "Huzhum" factory were allocated under construction. Construction customer is the office of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Uzbekistan.
The center is a public educational institution and subordinates directly to the Ministry of Labour, and the total educational and methodical management is assigned to the Center of secondary special and professional education of MHSSE. The decision approves its main tasks, structure, as well as the state diploma of vocational retraining and advanced training and a certificate of completion of short courses at the Centre.
The term of training for the unemployed and temporarily unemployed people, including non-permanent employment of persons who have graduated from vocational colleges and academic lyceums, make up to 1 year. Train will be in the following areas and specialties as metalworking and plumbing work, electricity, electronics, IT, technology of spinning and sewing process.
However, the Centre will organize short-term training courses paid job seekers, but not registered through labor agencies as unemployed, and workers - on the request of the employers in the amount of not more than 15% of the total annual number.
