An exhibition of works of masters of ceramics of Uzbekistan opens in Turkey this spring.
The traditional pottery of our country will be presented abroad for the first time. Held in December last year, the exhibition "Keepers of the ceramics of Uzbekistan" in the Gallery of Fine Arts was a great success. As a result, the representatives of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and coordination TIKA made a proposal to introduce residents of Turkey to the works of our artists.
Exhibition of representatives of the leading schools of Uzbek ceramics will be held in Istanbul. The organizers of last year's opening day - the company Asha Production and Caravan Group, helped to compile a list of the best masters, which adequately represent the entire palette of traditional ceramics. It includes leading potters from Samarkand, Rishtan, Andijan, Gijduvan, Khorezm, Bukhara and Karshi. The exhibition will include not only samples of traditional arts and crafts, but also innovative trends in the modern glazed ceramics. The exhibition will showcase products by the young author from Bukhara, Abduvahidov Karimov.
An exchange of knowledge and experiences with the Turkish counterparts, through conducting master classes is planned. It is also expected to release the catalog of works, which will be exhibited in Turkey.
