Scientists-folklorists, artists, poets, tourists, representatives of the general public, journalists take part in the events organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
An event dedicated to the opening of these international festivals took place in the Karakalpak State Art Museum named after I.Savitsky.
- As a result of the project to create a system of lakes on the banks of the Lower Amu Darya, the Kukdaryo, Mezhdurechye, Zokirkul natural lakes are filled with water, a cascade system of reservoirs has been built around the Muynak Gulf, - says N.Mamutov, Candidate of Biological Sciences. - This contributes to the provision of a stable ecosystem on the territory, the conservation of natural biodiversity and the revival of fish farming, the restoration of disappeared species of flora and fauna.
At the event, an exchange of views took place on the preservation and development of traditions and values that are national spiritual wealth. It was noted that the ideas of humanism, feelings of love and devotion were glorified in the works of famous Karakalpak poets Berdakh and Ajiniyaz.
"The works of these two great poets are a rich spiritual heritage of the Karakalpak people," says A.Alniyozov, Candidate of Philological Sciences. - The events, characters, national heroes depicted in them testify to the past and present way of life of the people. It is necessary to deeply analyze these works and promote them among young people.
Within the framework of the event, the participants and foreign guests got acquainted with the exposition of the Karakalpak State Art Museum named after I.Savitsky. Visitors were accompanied by musical works of the peoples of the world in the performance of the symphonic orchestra of the Karakalpak State Academic Music Theater named after Berdakh.
The performance "Orol Bobo" of the Kashkadarya Regional Theater of Music Drama was presented at the Karakalpak State Academic Music Theater named after Berdakh. The performance by the drama of the People's Writer of Uzbekistan Erkin A’zam was staged by the theater's director Farhod Jumaev. The work is devoted to one of the global problems of our time - the tragedy of the Aral Sea, through the symbolic image of which the love for the Motherland and confidence in the future have been demonstrated.
The gastronomic festival dedicated to national dishes, food products of the peoples of the Aral Sea and dishes from Aral fish, as well as the international eco-festival "Revival of the Aral Sea and Muynak" continue in the Muynak District.
