The event, organized by the National Agency "Uzbekkino" in conjunction with the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan, the Center for the Development of Cinematography and a number of other organizations, involved filmmakers, art critics, students, representatives of Russian cinema.
Director General of the National Agency "Uzbekkino" F. Zokirov and others noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia is consistently developing both in the political, economic and social spheres, as well as in the cultural and humanitarian direction.
The main goal of the week is further strengthening of ties in the field of cinema art, creating favorable conditions for the mutual exchange of opinions and experiences.
The films, which will be presented within the framework of the week at the Palace of Youth Creativity, are selected taking into account the diverse audience of viewers and their interests. So, for example, the film "Box" tells about complex psychological relationships between young people, and the film "The Lights of a Big Village", shot in the comedy genre, tells about the ambitions of a young director. The film "Tali and Tolya" is full of bright shots, instructive episodes, devoted to kindness, friendship, love. Do not leave the audience indifferent and filmed in a complicated dramatic genre film "Finding", the film "One" telling about the events of the Second World War, as well as the picture of "Lyrics" - about the sincere and light feelings of young people. Within the framework of the week there will also be creative meetings, master classes for students.
