The Republican Review-Festival of Young Opera Singers ‘Yoshlik Bahori’ (The Youth Spring) begins in Tashkent that was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in conjunction with the Kamolot Public Youth Movement.
For four days the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan hosts rehearsals and selection trials of those young people from 18 to 32 years old from all regions of the country. The final concert is to take place in big hall of Conservatory on May 14, and a day after the participants of the concert perform with the Youth Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan on the stage of the International Palace of Forums of Uzbekistan.
The Festival was for the first time organized last year, and discovered a plenty of talented young people. Many of them for the period passed triumphed in various prestigious international festivals. Thus, the grand prize of the 14th International Concert of Italian Opera Singers – Competizione dell’Opera went to the master-course student at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, Nihol National Prize winner, Barno Ismatullaeva.
That is how the main goal of the festival is getting implemented – discovering and supporting young opera singers, as well as popularizing the national and international cultural heritage among young people.
