The festival is dedicated to the People’s Artist of Karakalpakstan, Turkmenistan and Tatarstan Otajon Hudoyshukurov.
Today, young generation supports the fund of Otajon Hudoyshukurov.
The jury consists of People’s Artists including Munojat Yulchieva, Muyassar Razzakova, Mahset Hujaniezov, Gavharhon Matyaqubova, and Honored Artists Ogabek Sobirov, Shukur Gofurov, Yulduz Turdieva, Samandar Hamrakulov and many others.
“Many different festivals and competitions aimed at supporting young people take place in our country. However, ‘Nafosat - Buston Manim’ is a special event, since it contributes to the development of the national kinds of creativity and performances of the masterpieces of world culture,” noted Muyassarkhon Sotivoldieva, the general director of Uzbekraks Association, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan and member of the jury.
The competition of traditional performers turned a true decoration of the event. Young artists performed the songs sand by popular Otajon Hudoyshukurov.
Bakhishi singers performed Uzbek and Karakalpak epics.
The competition of vocal and opera singers consisted of the works of both Uzbek and foreign composers.
In addition, the festival program included Uzbek national dances and demonstration of creative works of young fine and applied art masters.
