The Youth Theater of Uzbekistan has presented its premiere play to the work by the Israeli playwright Iddo Netanyahu ‘Worlds in Collision.’ The play author attended rehearsals held under direction of the production director Nabi Abdurakhmanov. He admits that the play was written under the impression of reading of documents and materials on the meetings of two outstanding scientists.
World famous Einstein and less known therapist, creator of nontraditional theories in history, astronomy, and geology Immanuil Velikovskiy. Fame and infamy… Why so difference? One of these intriguing questions gets reflected in the play.
And the other theme is an eternal drive for knowing the world, and that high price the human paid for.
Main characters in the play are performed by Albert Khalmurzaev (Einstein), and Obid Abdurakhmanov (Velikovskiy).
This is not the first work of Iddo Netanyahu staged in the Youth Theater of Uzbekistan. The theater repertoire includes the play ‘Happy End’ based on Natanyahu’s same name product.
