A great concert for saving one life

Yesterday, on the eve of Navruz in the Great Hall of the Republican Specialized Music Academic Lyceum (RSMAL) named after V. Uspensky, a festive concert Navruz keldi yurtimga ("Nowruz came to our land") took place within the charity project "Children for Children". The proceeds from the sale of concert tickets were directed to the treatment of a three-year-old Yemina which is patient of the Research Institute of Hematology, a future student of RSMAL.

The atmosphere in the hall was truly festive and joyful. The assembled audience consisted of both elderly people and representatives of the younger generation of Tashkent. But the most grateful audience here, of course, were children.

The duet consisting of Zilola Khamidullaeva and Dier Ruzimetov was opened by the composition "Mustakil Uzbekistan" ("Independent Uzbekistan"). The last one was the hymn of the project "Children for Children" performed by all the participants of the concert, which graduates of the Lyceum wrote.

It should note that the first concert in the charity event "Children for Children" was held in 2005. Since September 2012, concerts have been held monthly. Participants in this action each time prepare a new concert program. I would like to emphasize that there are no analogues of such a project in the world. All funds from the sale of tickets by students and the parents' board of trustees are sent for the purchase of expensive drugs for children who are being treated at the Research Institute of Hematology. During this time, they were purchased for more than 25 million soums. Also, targeted assistance was provided to teachers of the Lyceum, who need treatment.
