Uzbekistan has lost six places and took 84th place in the Global Energy Architecture Performance Index (The Global Energy Architecture Performance Index Report 2016 - EAPI), published by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
In the past study energy performance in Uzbekistan was at the 78th place among 125 countries. Despite the fall in the ranking, EAPI of our country tends to increase, and this time it is 0.55 points (0.54 points - in 2015, 0.45 - in 2014).
Switzerland took the first place in the ranking for the fourth time, the second is Norway, and the third is Sweden. The top ten also includes France, Denmark, Austria, Spain, Colombia, New Zealand and Uruguay.
Azerbaijan is the leader among the CIS countries. Russia has lost 16 positions and took the 52 th place, Armenia has dropped from 50 to 56th place, while Georgia improved its position for 2 lines and took the 46th place.
Among the Central Asian countries Kazakhstan is at the 57th place, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan took the 96 and 118 places respectively.
