“The government of Uzbekistan jointly with the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank Group is completing the preparation of projects within a new strategy of cooperation worth more than $12 billion,” First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov noted.
“Currently, we are completing the preparation of new cooperation strategies for the coming years, worth more than $ 12billion,” said Mr. Azimov at the International Investment Forum.
The new partnership strategy with Uzbekistan designed to 2016-2020 fiscal years. They provide a significant increase in financial allocations compared to the previous period, and as main directions appear the increase of global competitiveness, industrial modernization and diversification, and the development private sector and corporate governance.
Significantly increase the portfolio of projects with the participation of the International Finance Corporation, which reached a record $1 billion.
For the years of cooperation total volume of projects with the ADB has already reached $13 billion, with regard to the World Bank, this amount reached $6 billion.
