The Uzbek side expressed its readiness to open Uzbekistan Trading house in Tajik capital and organize the supply of products in a wide range, according to the website of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Republic of Tajikistan.
On December 5, 2015, the chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sharif Said has met with a delegation from Uzbekistan. A wide range of issues related to the establishment of close links between business and commercial circles of the two countries and the opening of the Trading House of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe were discussed.
Businessmen of Uzbekistan expressed willingness to open Trading house of Uzbekistan in Tajik capital and organize the delivery of goods to the neighboring republic of different functions. In particular, the wide range of products of food, agricultural, electrical, chemical, finished textile products, construction materials, fertilizers and other products.
"We are open to dialogue in all areas of economic cooperation, such as: hydropower, mining, engineering, nonferrous metallurgy, construction, transport and communications, agriculture trade, high technology, light industry, food industry, tourism, health and education," the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan Sharif Said noted.
Sharif Said also spoke about cooperation with the CCI Industry of Uzbekistan through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The head of the CCI made a proposal to consider the organization of the exhibition of universal industrial output of Uzbekistan and business forum of the two countries in Dushanbe in order to enhance bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
At the same time, he stressed that the "very important point is the constant contact of business organizations, so that we more often have the opportunity to see each other, communicate and address issues of mutual interest."
