The Uzbek government extended permission to export fruit and vegetables: potatoes, melons and grapes by road, until July 1, 2016.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the authorization to carry out the export of horticultural products: potatoes, melons and grapes (code TN VED - 07-08) by road was renewed until July 1, 2016.
This permission applies to legal entities included in the list approved by the Working Group addressing issues related to the rational use of fruit and vegetable products (established January 4, 2016).
Earlier permits, valid until January 1, 2016 allowed to export these products only by rail and air transport. The decision to limit exports was made in order to streamline, and ensure the transparency of customs procedures and the prevention of smuggling of agricultural products.
