Uzbekistan and Finland signed agreement on international standards of tax transparency

Uzbekistan and Finland made changes to the agreement on avoidance of double taxation, the press service of the Foreign Ministry repoprts.

Ceremony of signing the Protocol amending the Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Finland on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of evasion of income tax of April 9, 1998 took place in Helsinki on March 8, 2016 during the visit of Uzbek delegation to Finland.

The document was signed by Botir Parpiev, the Chairman of the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan and Timo Soini, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland.

It is noted that the Protocol amends the Agreement with new regulations that meet international standards of tax transparency.
