Uzbekistan joins the top five fastest growing economies in the world by the World Economic Forum (World Economic Forum), even leaving behind China.
The World Economic Forum published the top 13 fastest growing economies in the world.
Thus, Uzbekistan’s GDP growth in 2015 is projected at 7.6%, in 2016 - 7.8%, and by 2017 it will be 8%. Compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of Uzbekistan’s GDP in 2014-2017 will amount to 7.87%.
First place in this list occupies Ethiopia (CAGR: + 9,7%), Turkmenistan - second (CAGR: + 9,07%), the Democratic Republic of Congo - 3rd place (CAGR: + 8,62%), Myanmar – 4th place (CAGR: + 8,3%). China occupies the last place of the list (CAGR: + 7,1%).
