Currently, the capital sufficiency of the banking system is 23.3 % , according to the report at the expanded meeting of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the results of activity for 2015.
This figure exceeds the requirements set by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision ( 8 % ) three times. And in cash equivalent, as of January 1, 2016, reached more than 7.8 trillion soum.
The level of current liquidity of the banking system for the past several years is more than 64.5 %, which is twice the minimum level established by international standards.
Banks' assets increased by 25.1 % compared with the previous year and reached $ 65.2 trillion soums.
It is noted that in the reporting year, the share of banking services in the structure of the financial services was 88 % and rose more than 1.3 times compared to 2014.
