President inspects agriculture projects

The head of our state inspected the project of building a poultry complex, organized by Jondor chinor chorva LLC in Jondor district.

The intensive technologies of poultry farming are introduced in the Bukhara region, as a result of which the production volumes of eggs and poultry meat are increasing. Today, the number of birds in the region has reached 3.8 million, the production of eggs - 347.7 million pieces.

In order to further expand the production of dietary meat, Jondor chinor chorva LLCpurchased chickens in the Netherlands. On the basis of the enterprise, it is planned to organise an enterprise for processing chicken meat and a poultry farm for 110 thousand chickens. As a result of the implementation of this project, with a total cost of 15 billion soums, the volume of procurement of chicken meat will be brought up to 2 thousand tons, the enterprise will process 1,000 tons of products. It is also scheduled to supply 18 million eggs and 1 million chickens to the domestic market. Moreover, it is planned to export the products. 285 jobs will be created.

The President of our country paid attention to the issues of ensuring the profitability of the enterprise, noted the need to reliably protect the birds from disease, to increase the level of import substitution of food products.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the project of the livestock complex being implemented in Peshkun district.

The work carried out in our country to ensure food security, the development of livestock breeding is yielding its high results. In 2016, the number of cattle in the Bukhara region increased 4.1 percent, sheep and goats 5.5 percent, meat procurement 7.1 percent, milk production 9.5 percent compared to 2015.

The new cattle-breeding complex can house 1000 cows and 1500 sheeps. As a result of the project, the total cost of which is more than 10 billion soums, the complex will produce 2,650 tons of milk, 200 tons of meat, 2.5 tons of wool. More than 100 jobs will be created.
