Uzbekistan in five years intends to implement 54 projects in oil and gas industry totaling to $18.65 billion.
The implementation of the projects is provided with the oil and gas development program for 2015-2019 that was approved by the President in early May. It was noted at the International Conference ‘Oil and Gas Uzbekistan 2015.’
“Program envisages the implementation of 54 projects. The target part of the program also includes 39 projects for implementation worth $7.1 billion. Due to the projects implementation 5400 new jobs will be created,” tells the Chairman of Board of the ‘Uzbekneftegaz’ National Holding Company, Shokir Fayzullaev.
He also noted that in comparison with the year 2005, the volume of investment in the sphere increased 23 times.
